The Red Sox were finally able to capitalize in the 4th inning, scoring 2 runs. But the Indians responded with a run of their own from a ______ hit in the ________ inning, bringing the game to 2 to 1 with a run scored from Dylan Draper.

With time running out, the Indians were up to bat in the 7th inning. With the bases loaded and one out, Tyler Wardell hit a ground ball which was fielded by the Red Sox who through it to home plate for the force out. But trying to turn a double-play, the Sox catcher threw the ball to 1st base, but overthrew it. Always alert, Coach Danny sent Justice in from 3rd base to tie the score at 2 to 2 on the throwing error.

The boys continued to fight in their at-bat. With bases loaded and only 1 out, Jordan hit a ground ball that was fielded by the 1st base who took it to 1st base for the 2nd out. But the out turned out to be a game-winning RBI as Gavin scored from 3rd base to give the Indians the lead by 1. The Sox then got their 3rd out and prepared for one more time in the field to hold the Red Sox scoreless in their next at-bat.

Braxton took the mound and was ready for the challenge. He had relieved Gavin in the 6th inning and had held the Sox scoreless that inning. Braxton was throwing strong and accurate while the 1st batter battled him. Finally, the batter hit a hard shot, ground ball through the middle of 2nd and 1st base. The ball made it to the grass and it looked like it was headed to the outfield for a base hit, but then KJ, at 2nd base, made an incredible play and layed out, diving for the ball and scooping it up. Throwing from his knees to first, he barely made the critical out.

The next batter also battled Braxton. He too hit a ground ball towards KJ at 2nd base. KJ fielded the ball for the 2nd out.

All focus was on getting the 3rd out. Braxton delivered strong and struck the batter out, chalking up 3 strikeouts and no walks in 2 innings. The Indians player, coaches, and fans went crazy with the win.
